Reena has over 21 years of work experience in the areas of General and Performing Credit, Banking, Structured and Project Finance (including documentation for term loans and debentures), Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy, Strategic Advisory (Pre-Litigation) and Complex Security Enforcements. In addition to Credit, as former head legal to one of India’s foremost infrastructure developers, Reena brings enormous experience advising on critical matters in the Infrastructure sector including its subsectors such as Roads, Ports, Renewable Energy, Financial Services, Real Estate, Bid Process Management, Investments in Infrastructure, EPC, project and commercial contracting. Her M&A experience includes advising on investments and divestments in Information Technology, Logistics, Lifestyles and Brands, Insurance Broking and Financial Services (including transactions in Securities and Institutional Trusteeship).
Reena’s expertise lies in providing bespoke and end-to-end legal solutions in commercial transactions which includes complex due diligences, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and co-counsel representation in cross border M&A where she advises clients on a range of commercial and regulatory matters in relation to investment in India.
