Humera is a Partner in the general corporate and advisory team in the Delhi office of Kochhar & Co. She brings with her a decade of experience, across law firms and leading financial institutions.
Humera regularly assists and advises multinational and Indian companies in cross-border as well as domestic transactions where she provides full range of services including deal structuring, due diligence, drafting and negotiating term sheets and definitive documents, and providing all ancillary legal advisory services.
As part of the corporate advisory team, she manages a multitude of transactions involving mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, private equity, etc. She takes keen interest in developing the Firm’s labour and employment law practice.
Prior to joining Kochhar & Co., Humera spent a major part of her career at IFCI Limited, a financial institution under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India where she was extensively involved in corporate and project finance and also dealt with matters under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
