Our Senior Partner & Head of the Kochhar Mumbai office, Mr. Rajarshi Chakrabarti (Raj) has been appointed as the Co-Chairman, Legal & Regulatory Committee, The Council of EU Chambers of Commerce in India (EU Chambers).
Raj regularly advises numerous European clients and their Indian subsidiaries (including some of the Fortune Global 500 cos.) on diverse Indian law issues. Amongst others, he has represented Thyssenkrupp group entities in India, Kerry Plc, Aon Plc, Volkswagen India, Arthrex GmbH, Volex Plc, Believe, Recticel SA etc. His range of work with the European clients have included mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, regulatory issues, and employee matters.
In its first Legal Powerlist, the Forbes magazine recognised Raj among the “Top 100 lawyers” in India.
