Kochhar & Co. was the exclusive India counsel advising Neptune Orient Lines (NOL), a global cargo conglomerate with respect to the sale of its group company APL Logistics to Kintetsu World Express (KWE) in a deal valued at US $1.2 billion. This was a significant cross border transaction involving the jurisdictions of India, Japan, and Singapore.
