Directions issued by the Ministry to ensure operational continuity of critical media infrastructure. Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has issued a circular to all the Chief Secretaries of all States/ Union Territories, stating that critical media infrastructure such as printing presses and distribution infrastructure of Newspapers/Magazines; all TV Channels and supporting services like Teleports and DSNGs; DTH/HITS operations connected equipment /facilities, etc. including maintenance; FM/CRS Networks; Networks of MSOs and Cable Operators; and News Agencies shall be kept fully operational during the Covid-19 pandemic
