Select Experience Statement

  • Represented the Central Government before the Supreme Court in a Special Leave Petition along with the Additional Solicitor General and the matter pertained to a challenge to a departmental enquiry under Rule 14(2) of the Central Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1965 (2010) 8 SCC 644.
  • Represented the Government before the Supreme Court along with the Additional Solicitor General in a final hearing matter wherein inter alia there was a challenge to the Drug Price Control Order (2011) 6 SCC 668.
  • Part of the Counsels representing power generation companies in Coal Block Cases heard and decided by Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. (2012).
  • Was part of the Sabarimala Judgment as an intervenor decided by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
  • Represented the Government of a Union Territory along with Additional Solicitor General of India before the High Court of Kerala at Ernakulam in four Writ Petitions and subsequently two Writ Appeals wherein there was a challenge to the tender floated for operation and maintenance of a major Island Resort at the Union Territory. The matter was decided in favour of clients we were representing. Represented the clients at the Supreme Court of India in the Special Leave Petition which was filed against the above Order.
  • Represented a luxury hotels company before the Company Law Board, Delhi in a Petition under Section 397 of the Companies Act, 1956 in 2013.
  • Represented senior managerial personnel of a major Indian conglomerate before ACMM, Saket District Court, Delhi and got them bail and thereafter represented them before Delhi High Court and got relief of exemption from personal appearance.
  • Filed a suit for injunction before Gurgaon District Court for a major international travel solutions company restraining ex-employees from passing on information to a competitor.
  • Was part of the special court trial evidence on behalf of a major international company dealing in dairy products before Dwarka District Court in a prevention of corruption matter.
  • Represented two major power generation companies before APTEL and various state electricity regulatory forums in multiple matters.
