Tomio Isogai is a Member & Senior Advisor in the Japan Desk of the Firm. He is a former Managing Director of Japanese multinational in India, Sharp India Limited. He retired in 2016 after a 37 year long and diversified career, representing the electronic giant, Sharp Corporation in more than 60 countries globally, particularly in the emerging markets.
As a seasoned business leader and a true global citizen, Tomio has garnered extensive experience across global marketing, project management, leadership & team-building, cross-cultural training, business development, new product/service development, sustainable manufacturing, quality improvement & management (Kaizen & 5S), corporate governance, dispute resolution between various stake holders, employee-employer relations, learning & development and career planning.
In his previous stint as the Managing Director of Sharp Middle East Free Zone Establishment UAE, he was also appointed as the member of the prestigious Economist Forum in Dubai.
Since 2017, Mr. Isogai is based in India and has been instrumental in connecting and strengthening India – Japan ties through numerous commercial, academic, and cultural initiatives.
