Samad is a corporate lawyer and part of the Firm’s Projects & Infrastructure and Banking & Finance Practice Groups. He has over 6 years of work experience in the areas of M&A, General Corporate, Private Equity and Labour Laws.

Samad has worked with companies, funds and financial institutions across various sectors and has also held in-house position with one of the leading British multinationals. in-house counsel with the India office of a British multinational company. He has handled transactions across sectors including but not limited to e-commerce, insurance, commercial vehicle manufacturing and gems & jewellery sector.

• Handled a legal due diligence pursuant to the issuance of non-convertible debentures to a fund.
• Represented company in the business of 3D printing, on an investment from an overseas multilateral organisation.
• Represented a client on an investment from a fund for the setting up of power plants in Sierra Leone.
• Worked on the financing documents of a wind energy company.
• Worked with a leading Indian bank on its collateral management arrangements with collateral managers.
• Advised a human resources technology company on its employment letter and on applicable employment laws.
