Manish is a Partner in the Gurgaon office of the Firm. He has about 17 years’ experience in diverse areas of law.
Manish started his career as an independent litigator. Thereafter, he worked in the Corporate and Intellectual Property teams of Kochhar & Co. for few years before moving back to Dispute Resolution.
Over the past few years, the main thrust of his practice has been alternate dispute resolution and litigation pertaining to infrastructure and construction projects including roads & highways, power projects, pipelines, water projects, metro projects, railways, etc. Manish has been involved in complex and high value arbitration (both domestic and international) and litigation in this sector.
Manish also regularly advises and assists the Firm’s clients on employment law issues. His employment law practice includes drafting of employment related documentation (including appointment letters, service agreements, NDAs, invention assignment agreements, employment / HR policies, etc.), advising on labour law compliances, disciplinary proceedings against employees, complaints of sexual harassment, voluntary severance schemes and representing clients in contentious matters before labour Commissioners, labour courts, industrial tribunals, High Courts and the Supreme Court.
He has also been regularly advising and assisting several large multinational and domestic clients across sectors such as oil & gas, real estate, pharmaceuticals, education, aviation, consumer goods, information technology, telecommunication, banking, insurance, etc. on a wide spectrum of matters.
Manish also advises clients on general corporate and commercial matters. His litigation experience gives him an edge in the corporate domain as it provides a holistic view of the issues involved.
