Deepti is a key member in the Corporate M&A practice group of the Firm’s Bangalore office. Her focus areas are mergers & acquisitions, amalgamations, incorporation of companies, incorporation of limited liability partnerships, corporate compliance, corporate due diligences, assistance with suggesting corrective measures on non-compliances under company law including advise on compounding of the non-compliances, etc.
She has considerable experience of working on mergers for multinational as well as domestic companies including mergers at multi-state level.
Deepti has extensively advised some of the largest multinational corporation including leading blue-chip technology and manufacturing companies on their entry, investments and expansion in India. She has been handling corporate compliance work on a regular basis for various foreign clients who have set up business operations in India.
Deepti is also actively involved in the Firm’s Restructuring practice group having considerable experience in advising companies on options available for closure of business operations and winding up or liquidation. Clients have gained from Deepti’s substantial exposure to regulatory matters, including advising on various compliances to be met by the companies under Company Law, Limited Liability Partnership related law, and Foreign Exchange related regulations.
