Kochhar & Co. has successfully represented AssetPlus in raising INR 175 crores ($19.5 million) in a funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Eight Roads Ventures and Rainmatter Fund. The transaction bolsters the Chennai-based wealthtech firm’s scale-up of its distributor-led assisted wealth management platform.

The fresh capital will deepen Assetplus’s technology stack, expand product offerings including Portfolio Management Services and global investments via GIFT City, while supporting over 18,000 mutual fund distributors managing INR 7,250 crores in assets.

The successful completion of this high-value funding reflects Kochhar & Co.’s expertise in advising on complex capital raises and delivering seamless structuring for fintech and wealth management deals.
