Kavita is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution practice group and has rich experience in the field of litigation & alternate dispute resolution.

She has diverse experience in handling high stake international and domestic commercial arbitrations, civil suits and corporate commercial litigation including insolvency matters. She regularly represents multinational and Indian companies (including leading Public Sector Undertakings) in array of matters before various courts including the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court and other High Courts, District Courts, and Tribunals such as the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), National Green Tribunal (NGT), Competition Commission of India (CCI), National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC), etc. throughout India, as well as domestic and international arbitration tribunals including International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

Kavita advises clients on aspects relating to alternate dispute resolution process in India, execution of an arbitral award, enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in India, interim relief in domestic arbitrations and arbitrations seated outside India, challenge to arbitration award, recovery of debt under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code etc.

• Successfully represented one of India's largest oil & gas PSU in a highly critical arbitration matter arising from termination of a high-value contract for construction of effluent treatment plant cum water injection plants.
• Represented the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) in various arbitration matters for adjudication of its disputes with the contractors. The issues involved defect and delay claims including invocation of performance bank guarantee.
• Represented one of India's largest telecom tower companies in three high-stake arbitration matters against major Indian telecom companies (now under liquidation) in disputes arising out of termination of their service contracts all over of India. The total amount involved in these matters was more than INR 500 crores.
• Represented a Swedish public company operating in the commercial vehicle industry in a dispute with its joint venture partner in an international commercial arbitration before ICC, Singapore.
• Successfully represented a leading Hongkong based company, engaged in wholesale distribution of computer monitors, in an arbitration against its distributor for recovery of contractual dues.
• Successfully represented multinational Information technology (IT) services company in arbitration against its landlord company in its disputes with respect to the return of security deposit and handing over of the premises. The Tribunal was pleased pass an award in favour of the company while rejecting all the counterclaims of the opposite party for payment of the amount towards repairs and damages.
• Representing one of India's largest telecom tower companies before Supreme Court of India in the issue of grave public importance. The matter involved removal of mobile towers from residential locations on account of harmful effects of radiation emitted from the mobile towers.
