Kochhar & Co. is pleased to announce that Abhilekh Verma has joined as a Senior Partner in the Corporate Commercial Practice of the Firm.
Prior to joining Kochhar & Co., Abhilekh was a Partner with Khaitan & Co. He had joined Khaitan’s Bangalore office in 2011 after having successfully helmed PAV Law Offices, which he had co-founded. He has also in the past worked as a Partner in JSA and briefly as an In-House Counsel with the Bharti Group where he was involved in its domestic as well as international business pursuits.
Abhilekh has rich and diverse professional experience of over twenty years and specializes in corporate & business laws with focus on mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, strategic tie ups, foreign inward, and outbound investment. Abhilekh has advised numerous multinational and domestic clients across industry segments on legal and regulatory issues at various stages of project conception and execution, including on entry strategies, structuring and other general corporate commercial matters.
