TFX Equities Inc had formed a joint venture with The Midland Rubber and Produce Company Limited (Midland) an Indian public company to carry on the business of manufacture, sale, and distribution of medical devices. Kochhar& Co. was the exclusive India counsel advising TFX Equities Inc. on a transaction that entailed Teleflex Holdings Netherlands B.V acquiring Midland’s stake in Teleflex Medical Private Limited for an undisclosed sum.
The Firm advised in respect of all Indian law matters including but not limited to structure of the acquisition, share purchase agreements, and advise and compliance relating to the FEMA Regulations and all relevant legal issues.
Kochhar partners Stephen Mathias, Shanthala Rao and associate Anuj Kaila acted for the Teleflex group.
