The Firm advised Aspire India with respect to their acquisition of a software company in India from the promoters (in various tranches) and investors.
As the exclusive India counsel to the transaction, our Firm provided end-to-end advice on corporate laws, exchange control and other aspects of Indian leg of the transaction. Our role encompassed conducting legal due diligence of the target in India, preparation, negotiating and finalisation of the transaction documents. The Firm also provided assistance with respect to closing of the transaction and advised on post-closing aspects including management transition.
