Resident Attorney
Rianna is the Resident Attorney managing the Firm’s Tokyo office. Before relocating to Tokyo, Rianna was working with the Firm’s Bangalore office as a corporate lawyer.
Her major focus has been in advising clients on all aspects relating to foreign investments through joint ventures, merger and acquisitions, and establishment of wholly owned subsidiaries. She has extensively advised numerous transnational companies in various sectors on complex and general legal issues including joint venture transactions, acquisitions, foreign investment, regulatory compliances, industrial and labour laws, etc.
Rianna has significant experience in litigation as well and has represented several clients before the Consumer courts, High Court and the Supreme Court of India. She has handled matters pertaining to civil litigation, consumer protection, criminal complaints, banking claims and company related suits. She has also done extensive work in Information Technology and telecom and has advised some of the leading Fortune 500 IT and telecom companies.
